Richard Branson's supersonic planes will travel from NYC to Tokyo in just 1 hour

Sir Richard Branson is reportedly planning to build supersonic planes, which would transport commuters from New York to Tokyo within an hour.

According to News 24.com, the planes will fly at a speed of 30577km/h.

The 63-year-old English businessman plans to make it a priority and will start the new planes as soon as his Virgin Galactic space tourism programme, which is believed to be in the last stages, is ready to run.
