Superstar Rajnikanth on Friday praised his co-actor turned politician Kamal Haasan's public meeting held in Madurai, and noted that both of them are committed towards promoting the welfare of the society.
" Kamal Haasan's public meeting was good, I watched it. Our paths and styles may be different but our goal is same, that is doing good for people," he told ANI.
Kamal Haasan launched his new political party on Wednesday and named it 'Makkal Needhi Maiam', whereas Rajinikanth, who declared to fight the assembly elections back in December 2017 is yet to form a political party.
The state assembly elections of Tamil Nadu are due in the year 2021.
