Technology exhibition CEATEC attracts many companies in Tokyo

The biggest ICT and electronics technology exhibition, CEATEC, was recently held in Tokyo.

The exxhibition was a collaboration between ICT, electronics and existing technology to enrich social life.

Fujitsu introduced real time drowsiness detection technology for the driver to prevent impaired driving.

The technology involves placing a driver set wireless heart rate sensor around ear. Data is sent to a monitoring data center. After analyzing the level of drowsiness from frequency of pulse fluctuations, a warning is sent to the driver.

Fujitsu also displayed the "Emergency Call Unit", which works when crash occurs.

The emergency call is automatically sent to the center to send an ambulance. This emergency call unit will be mandatory in Russia in 2014 and in the EU by 2015.

Turning a smart phone or a tabletto TV screen audience can get timely information through embedded signal in TV broadcasting or video. Currently, audiences get timely information from the TV, before moving to the PC and accessing the internet site to get more timely information.

In the near future, audiences can get additional timely information easily.

Toshiba exhibited 4K full high definition TV technology and proposed "Smart Home Electronics", "Home Electronics Concierge".

The policy is using ICT technology as a concierge to realize convenient, comfortable social life.

A refrigerator equipped with a camera was also exhibited which help the user to check contents in the refrigerator via smart phone or tablet from outside of home.

Also air conditioner or laundry is controlled via smart device.

OMRON seeks beauty and health utilizing ICT technology. Monitoring and analyzing facility for sleep.

User set this facility near by pillow when she sleeps. Sensor detects toss, turn and other movement to analyze depth of sleep. The data is stored and appropriate advice is sent through application of smart phone.

OMRON asserts beauty and health is coming from good sleep.

Some car companies participated to ICT Electronics Technology Exhibition to demonstrate future car technology.

Nissan introduces autonomous driving car.

It is introduced in California USA August to develop 2020. It is convergence of car and ICT Electronics technology.

Job of the driver is just pressing start button. Afterward it is not necessary to use his hand while driving car.

Autonomous car detects around car and avoid any dangerous situation.

According to traffic indication car is controlled by artificial intelligence. Nissan set the driving course and demonstrate future technology.
