A 19-year-old girl shared some never-before-seen Nirvana history with the world on twitter recently.
Maggie Poukkula found the photos in her father Tony Poukkula's book, and they showed her dad and Kurt Cobain playing together back in the day, the Guardian reported.
The teenager's father had known Cobain since childhood, and joined Nirvana for covers of two Led Zeppelin songs. They had put on the show in Tony's basement.
Talking to the Rolling Stone, Poukkula said that she was clueless that the snaps were of Nirvana's first concert, and didn't realise the pictures held historical significance.
She only looked at it as cool pictures of her dad and Kurt jamming together.
The pictures have gone viral on the web ever since Poukkula tweeted them.
