Telangana Irrigation Minister requests Centre to create Krishi Vigyan Kendra in state
Telangana Irrigation Minister Harish Rao on Wednesday requested Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh to create 31 Krishi Vigyan Kendra's one for each district in the state.
Rao sought the Center's help in assuring Minimum Support Price (MSP) for onion farmers.
He also requested to grant Rs. 400 crores under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) for the construction of new godowns and cold storages in the state.
