Chelsea captain John Terry has backed his teammate Didier Drogba to be a success on his return to the Premier League, as the Ivory Coast striker came back to Stamford Bridge after signing a one-year deal last month.

Terry said that Drogba, who scored 157 goals in 342 games in his first spell with the club spanning eight years, is still the same. The skipper said that the striker has been a nightmare to play against in training and is still strong, sharp and hungry.

Chelsea has signed Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Filipe Luis at a combined cost of 75 million pounds this summer. Meanwhile, in addition to Drogba's arrival after he left Turkish side Galatasaray, defender Kurt Zouma and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois have returned to Chelsea after loan spells, The BBC reported.

Former England captain Terry also said that it is important Drogba is here because he brings that mentality of wanting to win every day, adding that that rubs off on people like Zouma and the other young players.

The skipper said that it is time for these players to continue to keep winning trophies for Chelsea and keep the fans and owner happy. He added that if he were a Chelsea fan he would be impressed from what he has seen so far from Costa, Fabregas and Luis and all the boys that have come in like Zouma as well.
