The makers of the short film, Chicken Biryani shared the trailer of their movie on YouTube and Facebook on Saturday and have managed to get a phenomenal response so far. The trailer of the movie has garnered two lakh views on YouTube and Facebook combined and is being appreciated by one and all.

This is remarkable feat considering how the movie with absolutely no pre buzz and no marketing spends has managed to capture the attention of the audience. The trailer stars Gavie Chahal who has been seen Ek Tha Tiger, Pinky Moge Wali and Yaraan Naal Baharaan to name a few. Directed by Lomharsh, the trailer opens with a scene of Indian border where a soldier of Indian army has a Pakistani soldier as his captive and the intriguing conversation that takes place between the two.

Many viewers have been intrigued by the title "Chicken Biryani". The reason

why the makers have zeroed in on this title is because it is one delicacy dish that is enjoyed on both sides of the border and perfectly capturing the overall mood of the short film.

Talking about the short film Chicken Biryani, Director Lomharsh said, "We are very happy with the response to the trailer of Chicken Biryani. We are hopeful that our short film to get such as heartwarming response of the Indian audience. Chicken Biryani is satirical take on the facilities available to our beloved jawans that work day and night to make sure that we get a peaceful night of sleep."

Produced by Sandeep Chaudhary, under the banner of DLB films, Chicken Biryani also stars Arpit Sharma, Gourav Jangid and Sadanand Sharma.

Chicken Biryani is a pre cursor to the upcoming movie Yeh Hai India, which also stars Gavie Chahal in the lead role and has been directed by Lom Harsh.

Yeh Hai India is also DLB films production and produced by Sandeep Chaudhary. The other cast of the movie Yeh Hai India includes Deana Uppal, Ashutosh Kaushik, Antara Banerjee, Mohan Agashe and Mohan Joshi.

The makers of Chicken Biryani are confident that Indian youth will be able to connect with the underlying yet powerful message of the movie and its taste will remain in the minds for a long time to come.
