The Top 12 got cut down to the Top 10 in the latest episode of 'The Voice,' as two female contestants were sent home by the American viewers.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, 'The Voice' had its first weekly double-elimination, but, as Carson Daly announced at the beginning of the broadcast, all eliminated top-12 singers will get a chance to rejoin the competition as a fan-voted, fourth "wildcard" finalist.
Even more so, whoever escapes the eliminations will be able to learn from a new guest mentors including Diana Ross, Colbie Caillat, Meghan Trainor and Patrick Stump of Fall out Boy in the upcoming episodes.
