'There's Something About Mary' star Danny Murphy dies of cancer

Danny Murphy has died of cancer at the age of 58.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 'There's Something About Mary' actor's representative confirmed that he had died of cancer in Florida.

Murphy, who was a close friend of director Peter Farrelly, had become a quadriplegic after a diving accident when he was 19-years-old, and had served as the vice chair of the Screen Actors Guild Performers With Disabilities Committee and co-founded a theater company for performers with disabilities called Blue Zone Productions.
