In the wake of the recent arrests of suspected ISIS activists, extreme security arrangements have been made in Hyderabad for the Republic Day parade that is to be held today.
Elaborate arrangements have been made by the police at the Parade Grounds this morning for the celebrations as about a thousand police officials and personnel have been deployed in and around the parade grounds while security has been beefed up at all public places and important installations in view of terror alerts issued by the Central Intelligence Agencies.
The police have also taken up massive vehicle checking and frisking at several parts of the city, especially in the bordering areas of Hyderabad.
