Tom Hanks is in talks to fill the role of heroic pilot Sully Sullenberger in Clint Eastwood's upcoming film.
Eastwood and Warner Bros are trying to seal the deal with the 58-year-old actor tp play Captain Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, who had miraculously landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River after a flock of geese hit the plane just after it took off from La Guardia Airport in 2009, saving lives of all 155 people aboard the plane.
According to Deadline.com, Eastwood will helm the biopic from a screenplay by Todd Komarnicki, which was based on the book 'Highest Duty: My Search For What Really Matters,' by Sullenberger and Jeffrey Zaslow.
