Nato's top military commander has said that the West should not rule out the "military option" in Ukraine, a report said.

While speaking to the press at the Munich Security Conference, U.S. Air Force General Philip Breedlove said that there is no conversation about "boots on the ground" but the west should consider providing weapons or capabilities to conflict-torn Ukraine, reported News 24.

Breedlove added that the proposals made by Russian President Vladimir Putin to end the fighting in eastern Ukraine were "completely unacceptable.
