United States President Donald Trump on Sunday continued his tirade against the 'fake media' and warned that he might cancel all future press briefings and replaces them with written handouts for the sake of accuracy.

"As a very active President with lots of things happening, it is not possible for my surrogates to stand at podium with perfect accuracy!....Maybe the best thing to do would be to cancel all future "press briefings" and hand out written responses for the sake of accuracy???" Trump tweeted.

This comes a day after White House deputy press secretary Sarah Sanders had said that president Trump had acted on the recommendation of his Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein when deciding to fire FBI Director James Comey.

President Trump also once again accused the Democrats of fabricating news reports on Russia to explain their election loss.

"Again, the story that there was collusion between the Russians & Trump campaign was fabricated by Dems as an excuse for losing the election," Trump said in a tweeted.

Continuing his assault on 'Fake Media', President Trump said that the fake media is working overtime today.

"The Fake Media is working overtime today!" Trump tweeted.
