Twitter wants to help you secure your account with a new way that will be part of the existing two-factor authentication method.

Given that smartphones are vulnerable to theft or software crashes, Twitter is now allowing you to use a USB security key such as Yubikey to doubly secure your account, Engadget reported.

With the physical key, you will be able to sign in to your Twitter account. It is helpful in instances where you are unable to use your phone for the text-based security key.
