At least two persons got injured after the wall of Kendriya Vidyalaya school located in central Delhi' Gole market area collapsed on Thursday.
The wall in question was supposedly in a very poor condition of which school authorities were aware.
"We had been discussing for the last couple of days that we should write to school authorities about the wall. Two men were sitting on chairs at a barber shop near the wall when the wall came crashing down with a rumble," said one of the eye-witnesses.
"Both of them got injured and one of them is quite serious as we had to pull him out of the rubble. My bike also got crushed in under the debris," he added.
The incident calls for serious attention to be paid towards the upkeep and maintenance of the government-run schools.
