At least two people were killed and five others got injured when a building collapsed amid heavy rain here.
The incident occurred between 9 - 9:30 pm on Saturday night.
The house, which was situated next to a drain in Mumbai's Bhramnagar area, collapsed apparently under the combined pressure from the rain water and water from the drainage.
"Five people have suffered injuries, they have admitted to various hospitals and their treatment is going on while two others have died." said Police Inspector of Khar East, Shankar Bhore.
Bhore also thanked the local residents for lending a hand in the rescue operations.
