Two police personnel were shot dead and one other was injured on Sunday in a targeted killing in Karachi.
The two officers were sitting in a police mobile van while on duty at the Dawood Round-a-bout in Karachi's Bahadurbad when unidentified assailants fired at them and fled the scene, the Dawn quoted Superintendent of Police (SP) Gulshan Ghulam Murtaza Bhutto, as saying.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) A.D. Khawaja, taking notice of the incident, ordered DIG East to submit a report immediately regarding the incident.
Karachi police chief Mushtaq Mehar has announced a Rs 2.5 million reward for anyone, who comes forward with information on the suspects' identification, according to Geo News.
