At least 12 people have been killed in two separate roadside bomb blasts in north and east Afghanistan, security officials said.
General Abdul Karim Fayeq, the police chief of Kapsia province, said that 10 civilians were killed while seven others injured as an explosion struck their van in Tagab district, reported the Dawn.
In a separate attack in northern Kunduz province, two civilians were killed as a roadside explosion hit a passing police vehicle, said Sayed Sarwar Hussaini, spokesman for the provincial police chief.
Hussaini said that four civilians and two police officers were also injured in the blast.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
