The UK spy agency, GCHQ has reportedly launched a code-cracking competition to find new recruits for the organization.

The Can You Find It? competition is designed to test both experienced and self-taught techies to crack a series of cryptic codes and get themselves a 60,000 pounds-a-year job as a spy for the agency.

The complex codes have been creates by a GCHQ team of top mathematicians and the online hunt provides a series of clues, leading to a number of different places around the world-wide web which will ultimately unlock the final answer, the Mirror reports.

The agency heads said that they want curious, tenacious and creative candidates who have the intellectual ability, though not necessarily the practical experience or qualifications, to join GCHQ and support the Government's national cyber security agenda.

According to the report, those who qualify would get a chance to work in partnership with the Security Service (MI5) and Secret intelligence Service (MI6).

GCHQ's head of resourcing, Jane Jones, said that the 21st century is confronting them with online threats that are difficult and dangerous, so they want employees who have evolved with the ever-changing digital world and therefore have the right skills to combat these challenges.
