The cab driver accused of raping a 27- year old woman in the national capital was arrested here on Sunday evening.
According to reports, the accused had locked himself in a room in order to escape the attentions of the authorities.

The victim, who works with a finance company in Gurgaon, was allegedly raped by the Uber Cab employee on Friday night, when she hired the taxi to go back to her home in Northwest Delhi.
Following the victim's complaint, the case had reportedly been registered under Sections 376 (rape), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Sarai Rohilla police station in the national.
