Expressing happiness over the arrest of a terrorist involved in the Udhampur attack, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member Rajiv Pratap Rudy asserted on Wednesday that India need not search for more evidence as the world knows where terror is mushrooming, adding Pakistan should be named for it.
Rudy told ANI, "I'm happy that the terrorist has been caught. The basic indications are that he seems most likely to be from Pakistan. But the fact remains, we need not get anymore evidence. The world knows where terror is mushrooming".
He also noted, "If Osama bin Laden could be found in the backyard of Pakistani armed forces complex, then no proof is needed after that."
Rudy urged the world to realise that the source of terror is in Pakistan and it is affecting India badly.
He added, "The war on terror should continue and Pakistan should be named for it".
Two BSF jawans and a militant were killed while eight others injured when militants attacked a convoy of the BSF on Jammu-Srinagar highway near Samroli in Udhampur district today early morning.
The three hostages have also been rescued and one terrorist has been caught alive.
The attack is allegedly the first in the district in over a decade.
