UK nurse 'very happy to be alive' after making full recovery from Ebola

A nurse from UK Pauline Cafferkey, who was diagnosed with Ebola in Glasgow after volunteering with Save the Children at a treatment centre in Sierra Leone has been discharged from hospital following complete recovery from Ebola and said that she is "very happy to be alive".

According to BBC, Cafferkey was diagnosed with Ebola on December 29 after returning to Glasgow via London.

She said in an interview that she even felt like "giving up" as her condition became critical.

She is the second Briton to recover from Ebola during the current outbreak in West Africa.
