The uncapped duo of Keaton Jennings and Liam Dawson has been named in the England Test squad for the remaining two matches against India.
Jennings will replace 19-year-old opener Haseeb Hameed, whose tour ended with a broken finger in Mohali Test.
Dawson, on the other hand, has been called in place of his fellow left-armer Zafar Ansari, who is still recovering with the back injury he sustained in the second Test in Visakhapatnam, ESPNcricinfo reported.
However, Ansari will continue to stay with the national squad and receive medical support in India before heading home on December 8.
England are currently trailing 2-0 in the five-match Test series following their eight-wicket defeat in the third Test against the Virat Kohli-led side in Mohali. The two sides will play their crucial fourth match beginning on December 8 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
