New Delhi, Nov. 14 (ANI): Veteran Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, who recently led a tolerance campaign in the national capital, says he is not afraid of going 'jobless'.

Amidst the huge support that he gained during his walk, there were a few who questioned his intention and said that he was going against his own fraternity.

However, Anupam feels that if talking about intolerance makes people not to give him work, then he is not afraid about it.

"I don't think I am going against anyone. I am going for my conviction. If talking about intolerance tells people not to give me work, it is okay, I can deal with it. You can't make everybody trust you or like you, I have stopped the attempt long time back. In your question, there is an underline threat, a fear that is being instilled into me from past 5-6 days that I won't get work. So, for all those people who think so I just have one thing to say- 'Bheega hua aadmi paani se nahi darta', so I would handle it," Kher told ANI.

The actor said he will always have friends from the industry who will give him work and apart from that, he has theatre with him which would ensure his bread and butter.

Kher, who is in the city to do theatrical play 'Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha', credited his success to the 'tolerant' people of India for they are the one who had given him the chance to prove himself.

The show will take place at the Kamani Auditorium here on November 14 and 15.
