Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the myth regarding the visit to Noida and losing the chair of CM should be thrashed.

"I am visiting Noida on December 23 and 25 to break this myth. Development of Uttar Pradesh and its people is our first priority," said Yogi Adityanath in Hubli.

Adityanath further said that remaining in the position of Chief Minister is not his objective.

"Objective is not to be in the position of a Chief Minister but welfare of the people of Uttar Pradesh," added Yogi Adityanath.

Yogi Adityanath will be visiting Noida on December 25 to receive Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inauguration of the Noida-Kalkaji Metro line.

It is believed that any Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh visiting Noida during the tenure apparently losses the chair.

Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav never visited Noida in his year tenure and inaugurated projects and roads by remote control sitting in his official residence in Lucknow.

Soon after Chief Minister Veer Bahadur Singh visited Noida in 1988 he was ousted of power. His successor Narayan Dutt Tiwari of the Congress, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Kalyan Singh and Mayawati also faced similar fate.
