UP: Man attacks sister-in-law with knife

In a horrific incident, a man attacked his sister-in-law with knife in Moradabad's Majhola region late night.

The accused, identified as Rajkumar, stabbed the victim, Sona several times.

A neighbour, on listening to her cries, came to her rescue but Rajkumar attacked him as well.

Both, Sona and neighbour have been admitted to hospital and are out of danger.

Police have filed a complaint and are on a hunt to nab the accused.

Rajkumar was married to Sona's sister, Mona. However, things didn't work out properly and Mona came back and started living with her parents.

Rajkumar, on seeing the opportunity, hid himself on the terrace of Mona's house. When Sona went on terrace, Rajkumar attacked her and stabbed her repeatedly.

The reason behind attack is speculated to be some kind of family conflict.
