US State Department Spokesman Mark Toner has said in a press briefing that the US wants Pakistan to expand its fight against terrorism.

According to the Dawn, Toner said that the US wants Pakistan to expand its efforts but accepted that it was a complex dynamic.

He said that Pakistan has the Taliban and Afghanistan's continued presence along with tensions with India that need to be addressed.

Both Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and US President Barack Obama agreed on Thursday to take measures against all terrorist groups.
