A fan of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has come all the way from Bikaner to Delhi with a photo album containing 2037 pictures of the BJP veteran.

"I wish Vajpayee on his birthday and today he is getting Bharat Ratna, for that, I congratulate him. I had earlier shown this album to him in 2006 when it had around 1200 photographs, today it has 2037 photographs of the former prime minister published in various newspapers," said Rajesh Kumar Gehlot, who was seen outside Vajpayee's residence in the national capital.

He added that the album contains Vajpayee's photographs right from his younger days.

He also showed to the mediapersons a letter which he had written to Narendra Modi when he had become the Prime Minister and had demanded him to give Bharat Ratna to Vajpayee.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had earlier this month declared that 'Good Governance Day' will be observed on Vajpayee's birthday.
