England have sought the services of former New Zealand left-arm spinner Daniel Vettori to help their spinners during their matches against Pakistan in the UAE, as well as to groom young spinners for the future.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has confirmed the news. It said Vettori would join the coaching staff in the UAE under the EPP programme.
England Performance Programme (EPP) coach Peter Such welcomed the move, saying his team is delighted to acquire the experience of one of the most respected spinners in world cricket.
According to Sport24, Vettori would join England for 10 days in November in Dubai.
Vettori had previously made a successful move into coaching in India and Australia in the Twenty20 leagues.
England will play three Test matches, four ODIs and three T20s against Pakistan, starting from October 13.
