Ash coming out from two volcanoes have shut three more airports in Indonesia, in addition to the two shut last week, as millions head home for Eid.
The closures were prompted by eruptions at Mount Raung and Mount Gamalama, reported the BBC.
Raung, which has been active for weeks, caused airports, including the one in Bali, to close last week.
However, thousands remained stranded at other airports including at Surabaya, Indonesia's second largest city.
The fresh eruptions took place on the eve of Friday's Eid holiday, which marks the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramzan.
