Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis said that he was happy that his team are not being listed among the favourites to bag the coveted World Cup trophy, for which tournament gets underway from February 14 in Australia and New Zealand.
Former Pakistan pace spearhead said that he was happy they were not favourites as it was a big pressure, but has lots of hopes though, Sport24 reported.
According to him, teams which play on the bouncy wickets like Australia and South Africa are probably more the favourites than them.
Waqar, who was head coach during previous edition of World Cup, said that his team were not the favourites last time either but they played excellent cricket and reached the semi-finals, the report added.
Pakistan will open their World Cup campaign on February 15 against arch-rivals India in Adelaide.
