Former Pakistani bowler Waqar Younis has said that Brian Lara was the best batsman that he got out although he enjoyed bowling to other great batsmen like Sachin Tendulkar, Steve Waugh, Matthew Hayden and Adam Gilchrist.
In an interview with stuff.co.nz, Younis also said that he thinks Dale Steyn is a better bowler than James Anderson because he had done really well even in the sub-continent, but added that both of them were very good bowlers.
Waqar Younis was present as a guest of honour at this week's 2015 World Cup launch despite not being involved in Pakistan's historic 1992 World Cup-winning campaign, the report said.
The former bowling ace said that he is currently living in Sydney and is preoccupied with broadcast jobs, the report added.
