Wayne Rooney was slammed by fans for promoting his sponsor Samsung on his social media accounts, right after his return from the World Cup disaster.
The 28-year-old Manchester United star posted some advertisements for Samsung Galaxy 11 game online, where a team of top-class footballers from around the world attempt to save Earth from alien domination, the Mirror reported.
Rooney accompanied the posts writing that it was awesome to "save the world" with the game and get rewarded for it, at which fans blasted the star with criticizing comments saying that he should be concentrating on playing after the "disgrace" they faced in Brazil.
