Premier League club Arsenal's manager Arsene Wenger has said that the club's style of play, producing home-grown players and a determination to make more big signings after Mesut Ozil this summer are the key to have his team become the champions this season.
According to the Mirror, Wenger is convinced Arsenal can end their eight-year wait for a trophy and admitted at the club's AGM on Thursday that he has set his sights on the Premier League title.
Wenger received another overwhelming message of support from majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, who made a strong speech in praise of the manager he is looking to sign to a new contract, the report said.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are boosted by the news that Ozil will be fit to face Norwich on Saturday after a knee injury although Wenger may decide to rest him, with a tough Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund to come on Tuesday, the report added.
Defender Bacary Sagna and midfielder Santi Cazorla are also back in the squad, but England forward Theo Walcott is two weeks away from fitness after abdominal surgery, according to the report.
