A Winnie the Pooh drawing made by EH Shepard is expected to fetch 100,000 pounds at an auction, it has been revealed.
Shepard's drawing of 'Poohsticks' game that illustrates Winnie the Pooh playing 'Poohsticks' with Piglet and Christopher Robin will be auctioned in December, 2014 in Sotheby's sale of English literature, the Guardian reported.
The illustration of the bear playing 'Poohsticks' with Piglet and Christopher Robin was first published in 1928 and has been in a private collection for more than 40 years.
The auction house said that the illustration could be counted among the most familiar and most loved cultural references in English literature.
