Winter Olympic City mayor says no gays live in Sochi

The Winter Olympics city mayor Anatoly Pakhomov has reportedly claimed that there were no gays in the city.
The Sochi Mayor, however, said that gays were welcome to visit during the games.
Claiming that the city was gay-free, the mayor said that homosexuality was not accepted in the Caucasus he lived, the Daily star reported.
Meanwhile, Russian president Vladimir Putin's stringent anti-gay laws have raised questions regarding homophobia.
