Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gurpreet Singh on Thursday confirmed reports of a suspicious bag being found near a bus stop in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, and said that some wires could be seen.
"It's a small bag and some wires can be seen. The bomb disposal squad is on their way. Yes, it is suspicious," he said.
According to reports, the area has been cordoned off by the police.
