Wonder Cement ropes in Sailesh Mohta as President (Marketing)

The board of directors of Wonder Cement, a part of the RK Group, has announced the appointment of Sailesh Mohta as President (Marketing). Mohta will report into Mr. J. C. Toshniwal, Managing Director, Wonder Cement.

In sync with the company's long term vision of becoming an integral forerunner in the infrastructure and construction industry, Mohta will oversee strategic business partnerships and develop tactical policies aimed at augmenting the national presence of the brand, identifying potential markets, implementing a conducive growth stratagem and generating a significant share of voice in the marketplace.

Toshniwal said, "Mr. Mohta brings valuable know-how to Wonder Cement and will be an asset to the management team. His knowledge of commerce coupled with infrastructure experience will be profitable as we look to grow our presence nationally."

Before assuming his current role, Mohta held a number of senior management positions. Since June of 2010, he has served as President of Binani Cement and during his tenure the business went through a radical transformation to become one of the leaders in the infrastructure industry. A member of Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. and National Spot Exchange Ltd. Mohta has a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University Of Mumbai apart from acquiring the 27th rank for his chartered accountancy degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
