The world's tallest building Burj Khalifa in Dubai is not burning down despite the latest reports, it has been revealed.

Management from the Burj Khalifa quickly cleared up the confusion that the fog was the culprit for sparking the rumors, but there was nothing to be alarmed about, Stuff.co.nz reported.

A spokesman from Civil Defence confirmed to Emirates 24/7 the building was not alight, attributing the fog to the humidity outside reaching a certain level and creating the cloud formation seen.

Recently photos posted on social media raised fears of a fire in the 829m structure at the heart of downtown Dubai.
