Pakistan Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam on Thursday said that they would be able to say conclusively what agreements have been signed, by end of the day.

"There were three agreements that were under discussion. Two of them have not been finalized. Pakistan is not the only country which hasn't completed its internal procedures. The reason was that there was an expert meeting and the agreements after that meeting had not been put up to the concerned ministers," said Aslam.

"They were supposed to be submitted to the transport minister, a procedural requirement that has not been met. SAARC Summit isn't over; the negotiations obviously continue today, we can say conclusively what agreements have been signed by end of the day when the concluding session of the summit also concludes," she added.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders from the South Asian nations had informal talks at the retreat session of 18th South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina could not attend the retreat session as she was reportedly unwell.

Prime Minister Modi and his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif reportedly exchanged pleasantries during the retreat session.

After the retreat session, all the leaders will head back to Kathmandu to attend the concluding session of the Summit.
