The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz government has revealed in the parliament that President Asif Ali Zardari went on 25 private trips to Dubai, out of total 93 foreign trips, during his five years of political career.
Sharif's government told in the National Assembly that most of the trips that Zardari made to Dubai were 'private' to visit his children, Dawn reports.
However, his spokesperson, Senator Farhatullah Babar, clarified that Zardari undertook the foreign trips on the invitation of the heads of states, and recalled that other presidents in the past had done the same.
