Zayn Malik, who called it quits with One Direction in order to live a normal life, might be getting a taste of normal life as he has been offered a job at a crisp factory.

The singer has been offered the position of Chief Taste Tester at a crisp factory in his hometown of Bradford, the Daily Star reported.

Seabrook marketing director Kevin Butterworth asserted that the role of Chief Taste Tester is up for grabs and if the singer is a real Bradford lad then they are confident if there's one thing one know is what a good crisp tastes like.

The 22-year-old singer announced he had quit the boy band, which was formed on reality show the 'X-Factor', recently after taking an early leave from their latest tour due to "stress".
