It has been almost two years since the Audi A7 sedan was launched at the Indian shores and now if latest develpoments are to be believed, Audi is planning to roll out a facelift version of this impeccable saloon. It was revealed through some spy shots while the vehicle was being tested prior to its launch in 2014.

Well, there seem to be no major changes in the exterior appearance except a newly designed front bumper and grille and traditional Audi Matrix LED headlamps. The rear part also receives some minor additions in the form of a dual exhaust system that is elegantly integrated with the bumper. However, details regarding the interior cabin haven't emerged but a more impressive MMI infotainment system is expected. Additionally, the upholstery and color trim could also be revised and updated.

There would be no mechanical changes in the premium saloon and it is expected to retain the same engine options. Although, rumors are there that a new 3.0-litre TDI V6 Engine might join the engine line up. This mighty engine has the capability to deliver a whopping power of 255 bhp. Most probably, it would see the daylight in European auto arena by mid 2014, but as far as India launch is concerned the company is not too sure about it. Even if, Audi launches it in India then too it would be able to make it to India by at least mid 2015. Pricing is not going to affect much as compared to the current model but a slight increase is on the cards.
