To make people aware about woman power, Arjuna Awardee Deepa Malik started an epic drive on September 22nd from Chennai, which finally ended in Delhi. Yesterday, the drive reached Jaipur, second last major pit-hall of the 3000 plus kms long journey. It is the longest Pan India drive by a paraplegic, which has crossed various cities - Banagalore, Belgaum, Pune, Mumbai, Indore, Udaipur, Jaipur and finally reached Delhi on 29th September.

In Jaipur, Mayor of city, Jyoti Khandelwal greeted Deepa Malik, and gave her best wishes for rest of the journey. Since, the Pink City is the hometown of Deepa Malik, where her parents live, she felt like home here. At the Renault Dealership based in South Jaipur, Mr. Amit Jain, founder of CarDekho, flagged-off the drive. Deepa Malik's parents were also there to bless and encourage her for the journey

Bikers of convoy control club led by Birju Singh Sahab, one of the oldest yet passionate bikers in the country, escorted Deepa Malik's entire team to Delhi-Jaipur highway.

Many organisations across the nation, specially Renault India played an important role in Deepa Malik's inspiring journey. A group of students from Sathyabama University provided a specially developed/modified Duster for Malik, where all the controls are operated by hand.
