Fiat to launch Avventura on October 21st

Fiat's much-anticipated Avventura crossover will be making its debut on the coming 21st. Based on the company's recently-refreshed Punto hatchback, the Avventura will be rivaling against the likes of Toyota Etios Cross and Volkswagen Cross Polo. 

To be available in both Petrol and Diesel avatars, its diesel line-up will be offered in Active, Dynamic and Emotion trim, while top-end Emotion trim level would not be available with the petrol engine. In terms of features, the base Active trim will get new ten-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels, rear-mounted spare wheel with cover and rear fog lights along with some other basic features. In addition to all these, the mid Dynamic trim, gets electrically-adjustable body-colored ORVMs, all-four power windows, ABS with EBD, and height adjustable driver seat. While the top-end Emotion trim will be equipped with all the bells and whistles, including automatic climate control, steering-mounted audio and telephonic controls, rear wiper and rear defogger, dual airbags, rear AC vents and many more. 

Powering the petrol variants is a 1.4-litre Fire mill, while the trusted 1.3-litre Multijet will be doing its duty under the hood of diesel variants. Both the powertrains are carried over from the Punto Evo hatchback without giving any revamp. Thus, the natural-aspirated petrol engine churns out 90bhp while the diesel is good for 88.7bhp, delivering thrust to front wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox. 

Fiat will offer Avventura in six body shades, including the auto-expo showcased trademark Zafferano Orange shade. While the other choices comes in the form of Bronzo Tan, Minimum Grey, Exotica Red, Hip-Hop Black and Vocal white.
