Datsun, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nissan today launched the most anticipated hatchback Go D at Rs 3,12,270, while the mid level variant A at Rs 3,46,482 and the top spec variant T costs Rs 3,69,999 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The variants are named after the first three letters of the automakers name DAT, which stands for Dream Access and Trust. The Go which had been showcased recently at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo has been around for a while with the company wanting to perceive its market perception, which is how today we see an aggressive pricing coming out from the brand. Pitched to take on Hyundai Eon and Maruti Alto 800, Datsun Go seems to be an attractive package for the end consumer as claimed by company during its price unveiling at an event held in New Delhi.
