Italian sports car manufacture Lamborghini today unveiled its second dealership in the national capital called Lamborghini Delhi. Spread over an area of 4000 square feet, the dealership is located on Mathura road, further expanding the brand's foot print within the country.
"recognising the country's potential, Lamborghini was the first super-luxury sports car brand to establish itself in India. Today, the audience here for Lamborghini is far wider than just it's owners. The brand is recognised and appreciated for its benchmark performance, technology, exceptional design and Italian heritage. India is an important market for us. Hence we are looking to at expanding our network and look forward to continuing our success and commitment in India", commented Stephan Winkelmann, president and CEO Automobili Lamborghini on the eve of the event.
As far as numbers go, according to Stephan Winkelmann Lamborghini intends on selling 20 cars this year as against 17 in 2012 and 15 in 2011. United States of America remains the top market for the Italian sports car manufacturer followed by China, Middle East and Japan. However, the last couple of years has seen a massive growth for us in the Chinese market with over 200 cars being sold till now claimed Stephan.
He also said that the company is looking at a third dealership which is most likely to come up Bengaluru the time for which has not yet been disclosed.
