Mercedes To Launch C 63 S AMG Today!

Mercedes Benz is all set to launch the new C 63 S AMG today. This model will be the introduction of their AMG brand in the C class sedan. Following in the path of all AMG’s, the C 63 S AMG will also find its way in India through a CBU route. AMG, like always have made some tweaks to the looks of the car to make it stand out from its ongoing brothers. The C 63 S AMG features all-black interiors with sportier bumpers, alloy wheels and other body kits to make the car sporty and performance oriented from the outside.

Under the hood, the German auto tuners have worked their magic once again by equipping the C class with a 4.0-liter V8 mammoth which was earlier found in the AMG GT worth Rs. 3 Cr . This engine produces 510 hp @ 5500-6250 rpm along with a maximum torque of 700 Nm at around 1750-4500 rpm. Coupled with a AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed transmission, the hand made engine propels the car from 0-100 Km/h in just 4.0 seconds and keeps it going to an electronically limited 250 km/h or 290 km/h if you opt for the optional AMG Driver's Package.

Mercedes continues to impress the Indian automobile market with new launches. The German automaker’s latest launches in India are the S 63 AMG Coupe, S500 Coupe and the G63 AMG Crazy Color along with the S 63 AMG sedan. C 63 S AMG sedan is the newest addition to the Indian lineup and will rival its fellow countryman, the performance-oriented BMW M3. With the prices revealing soon, we are sure that the C 63 S AMG will make the Beemer work hard for its money.
