Mitsubishi Unveils Outlander Sport Summer and Outlander Winter Editions

Mitsubishi Motors North America and the H360 Group have teamed up to create Summer and Winter editions of the Outlander and Outlander Sport, designed and customized to become the ideal ride for a particular season. While the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport Summer Edition is a 5-seater, the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander Winter Edition can accommodate 7-passengers.

The companies have also launched a featured behind-the-scenes video of the project on www.h360mitsu.com along with interviews with celebrity strength and conditioning specialist Jay Cardiello and professional snowboarder Bryan Iguchi. The Outlander Sport Summer Edition sports a burnt orange paint with graphite, 20-inch graphite wheels with Nitto NT420S tires and new interior features including black leather/perforated leather, gray suede and orange stitching and interior trim painted burnt orange to match the exterior.

Features include his-and-hers roof-mounted Trek mountain bikes, along with a tennis racket, jump rope, various kettlebell workout weights and resistance bands, yoga mats, and exercise wear housed in custom-made storage sections in the rear cargo area. A wakeboard vest and ski rope can be found in a new waterproof compartment in the rear cargo floor. Other advanced features include an HD camera with wi-fi, headliner-mounted iPad Mini and several others.

On the other hand, 2014 Outlander Winter Edition is painted in a white hue with brushed aluminium exterior trim and brushed 20-inch wheels with upgraded brakes and tires. Inside, there's new black leather and light grey suede-covered seats with yellow stitching accents. The interior trim has also been painted to match the exterior. All-weather floor mats are designed to keep melting snow/ice at bay, while a ski pole grip shift knob adds a final touch of winter wonder to the interior. Moreover, the Outlander Winter Edition has been given a mini coffee maker in the rear cargo area and Illuminated Thermos mounted in the centre console, keeping the cold mornings in mind.

The 2014 Outlander Winter Edition also has an iPhone 5 camera lens, placed in the armrest and HD camera on the dashboard. There's also a custom Recaro children's booster seat in back, for any little snowboarders-in-training.
