Adani Green commissions 50 MW wind power project

Adani Green Energy (AGEL) said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Green Energy (MP), commissioned its 50 MW wind power project on Thursday, 5 March 2020.

Adani Green Energy (MP) commissioned its 50 MW wind power project having Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at Rs 2.65 kilo watt per hour for a period of 25 years on Thursday, 5 March 2020.

With this, 2.55 GWac of renewable energy projects are operational. Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has total 5.99 GWac portfolio of renewable capacity in India, out of which 3.44 GWac projects are under implementation. The announcement was made during market hours today, 6 March 2020.

On a consolidated basis, Adani Green Energy reported a net loss of Rs 49.74 crore in Q3 December 2019 compared with a net loss of Rs 117.82 crore in Q3 December 2018. Net sales jumped 10.2% to Rs 501.43 crore in Q3 December 2019 over Q3 December 2018.

Adani Green Energy builds and operates solar and wind energy power plants in India. It operates a fully-operational single-location solar power plant with a capacity of 648 megawatts (MW) and other plants in various parts on India.

Shares of Adani Green Energy tanked 4.98% to Rs 144.95. The stock traded in the range of Rs 144.95 to Rs 147.25 so far.
